Quran for children, memorized correctly and recited with care

   Step 1

   Letter articulation (makharij)

   We start with the short surahs and focus first on the articulation of each letter and correct pronunciation. The teacher recites one or two verses, to the child's capacity, and repeats by talqeen until they are memorized correctly.

   • Correcting the pronunciation of each letter.
   • Training the child on the points of articulation (makharij).
   • Repeating the verses calmly and gradually.

   Step 2

   Tajweed, applied in practice

   Once the child's articulation improves, we move gradually to the easy rules of tajweed, taught through recitation and repetition rather than long theory.

   • Applying the rules of tajweed during memorization.
   • Explaining each rule simply, to suit the child's age.
   • Practising the rule directly through the verses.

   • Repeating until the rule becomes natural in recitation.
   • Correcting mistakes calmly and patiently.
   • Moving, once ready, to a simple study of primers like Tuhfat al Atfal.

   Goal: To recite while applying tajweed naturally, and, when ready, to begin a simple, structured study of the classic primers suited to the child's level.

   Step 3

   Daily adhkar from Hisn al Muslim

   Alongside memorizing the Quran, we connect the child to the daily remembrances they actually use, chosen to fit their age and needs.

   • The supplication for sleeping.
   • The supplication for waking.
   • Morning and evening adhkar suited to the child's age.

4. 4

   Step 4

   Wudu and prayer, learned by doing

   As the child progresses, we move to what they need in daily worship, taught both in theory and in practice, so they understand what to do and why.

   • The rulings of wudu (ablution).
   • How the prayer is performed.
   • The remembrances said in prayer.

   Goal: To learn and perform the daily acts of worship correctly, in a way that suits the child's age.
